We ate at Ocean Basket during our stay at Sun City. The restaurant is a little away from the main central areas and is not the easiest place to reach on foot. We took the resort shuttle and got off near the conference/convention centre, then walked for around 5–10 minutes to reach the restaurant. The restaurant itself is very spacious, with plenty of seating. There is also a small kids’ area, which is a nice touch for families. We went for lunch and were served relatively quickly. The food was tasty, the service was good, and the restaurant was clean and well maintained. The restaurant also overlooks another quieter and more premium-looking hotel/villa area of Sun City, which gives the setting a pleasant feel. Overall, a good family-friendly option for lunch in Sun City, with tasty food and good service. The only slight drawback is that the location is a little less convenient than some of the restaurants around Sun Central.

New menu with lots of new dishes. The waiter was helpful, and the service was fast. We had shishi and it was very good. Had a bottle of fine wine with it. Can not complain.

Based in sun city at vacation club quite a walk uphill though from the bus stop. Lots of stairs so mindful note to seniors. Anyway sun city is hardly a good place for seniors to move around its better for us as seniors to book into the hotels and not vacation club. We ordered platters to two Also 300g kingklip Mediterranean prawn and rice. Food was fresh grilled well presented well. Good venue and neat. Good service

We visited the OB twice during our week stay! The food and service is one of the best on the resort! Thanks to the entire team for both excellent meals. The sushi, and Kingklip were amazing!

We were warmly greeted and served during our visit to this franchise branch situated at Sun City. Their fish and chips are still a great option for a light meal and this was no difference. Very well...

We had a fantastic meal of King prawns, that had been butterflied and deheaded, meaty fish, Mediterranean roasted veg, grilled halloumi, spinach, Butternut squash and a lovely bottle of sauvignon blanc for £42. What's not to like!
