Ocean Basket in Randburg is hands down my favourite spot for seafood, and I find myself coming back here over and over again – it never disappoints. Located conveniently and easy to get to, this branch really stands out as one of the best, with a warm, welcoming vibe that makes every meal special. As soon as you walk in, you are greeted with friendly smiles and great service. The atmosphere is lively, clean and comfortable – perfect for a casual lunch, a dinner with family, or catching up with friends. The staff here are absolutely wonderful: attentive, fast, and always happy to help with recommendations or special requests. You really feel well taken care of from the moment you arrive until you leave. And the food? Simply amazing, every single time! Everything is incredibly fresh, well-prepared and packed with flavour. I absolutely love their famous fish and calamari – it’s always tender, perfectly cooked, and coated in that delicious light, crispy batter they are known for. Their creamy lemon butter sauce is absolutely addictive, and their rice and chips are always hot, tasty and just right. I’ve also tried their prawns, mussels and seafood platters, and every dish is consistently high quality, generous in portion, and great value for money. They also have wonderful options for everyone, including great vegetarian sides and delicious desserts to finish off your meal. What I love most is that the quality never changes – whether I eat in or order for takeaway, it’s always just as good. The prices are very reasonable, especially for the amount and quality of food you get, which makes it even better. If you love fresh, tasty seafood and great service, Ocean Basket Randburg is definitely the place to go. We had an amazing experience at ocean basket cresta mall , me and my fiance . The food was superb and our waitress NOSIPHO was incredible amazing ,friendly and attentive . The atmosphere was great and we enjoyed our meal. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

My salmon roses were super fresh and the fish on my platter for one was butter soft.Mamello was a great waitress and made sure I was looked after on my solo date.Will definitely come back to this branch,soon.
