Seafood at Ocean Basket Bloubergstrand

I've been going to this Ocean Basket for years, and the food is always 👌 Our waiter was Muhammad he's professional, with a constant smile on his face, and always such a pleasure talking to him, I wish more waiters were like him one can tell that he's very passionate 10/10 Can't go wrong with this branch.

We had a ladies afternoon at the great OB and Alice, our waitress was the cherry on top. Her service was excellent and very friendly. She catered for our little princess that was with us and made sure she was entertained. Make sure you have Alice serving you if you want a great dining experience.

Visted Blaawburge OB for supper. Very quiet on arrival, a very well staffed restaurant. Precious was our waiter for the evening. He was very friendly and professional . We ordered wine and looked at the menu. 2 of us had already decided on sushi, and the other order was fish and chips. The Food was served, the sushi was excellent, and well presented . The fish and chips were served in a frying pan, a good-sized portion, and 2 fillets of fish. The chips looked nicely cooked . The meal was very enjoyable, definitely worth another visit. The restaurant was very busy by the time we left.

Grilled, battered, chips or none, this place packs a punch with it’s no-nonsense, straightforward and tasty offerings of all things ‘surf’ ! The vibe is ‘charged’ - lots of Diners eagerly engaged in lots of chat and lots of eating ! No-frills simplicity but top-end quality all round ! Add a Mojito into the mix too - delicious and terrific value !

Visited this outlet twice in a week, both times we had fresh food. (Ordered Bite of the ocean, Prawn platter and Fish and chips) Staff was friendly. Today we found a new menu and new prices (ca 5-10ZAR increase). I tried the Hake wrap with chips. Good quality food. Sadly no outdoor seating.
